Parent Payments Contributions

School Council would like to thank families for all your support, whether through fundraising, volunteering or by making a voluntary contribution. This has made a huge difference to our school and the programs we can offer.

Within our school your support allows us to:

  • Offer a wide range of subjects and special curriculum experiences for our students across all year levels
  • Employ a gardener to maintain the school grounds on a limited basis.
  • Resurfacing of the hard surface sporting areas.
  • Purchase of 20 Apple Ipads – allowing us to provide 1:1 technology for all students.
  • Refurbishment of the Library

School council would like to ask families to please review the recommended voluntary financial contributions listed on your XUNO dashboard, (if you have already made a contribution these will not be visible). Please note the amounts shown are only suggested amounts and can be altered if you wish.

Payment Methods

We offer the following payment methods to assist our families:

  • XUNO Family Smartphone App Preferred method of payment

    (Instalment Plans available on Xuno)

  • Centrepay instalments – for eligible families (see below)

Centrepay instalments are recommended for families who receive Centrelink benefits to assist with Parent Payments. Contact Lisa in the office if you would like further information about Centrepay. Centrepay is an easy and affordable way to pay off your contributions throughout the year.

Student Insurance Policy

Please read the details below to ensure you are fully aware of the department's insurance policy.

  • Parents or guardians of students, who do not have student accident insurance, are responsible for paying the cost of medical treatment for injured students, including the cost of ambulance attendance or transport as well as any other transport cost; and Parents or guardians can purchase insurance policies from commercial insurers.
  • Parents, guardians and staff are reminded that the Department does not hold insurance for personal property brought to school and it has no capacity to pay for any loss or damage to such property.

Update Student Medical Details

Parents are requested to inform the school if there are any changes to asthma plans, allergies, or other medical conditions. It is very important that these records are kept up to date. Parents should also note that if their child has asthma, it is a requirement that they supply the school with an inhaler and spacer for their child’s personal use.

Working with Children Checks

All volunteers that volunteer in any capacity here at LCS will need a volunteer Working with Children Check (WWCC). This includes helping in class in any capacity, at the school sports, school production, excursions and camps etc. Volunteer checks are free! Remember if you are planning on assisting at LCS in any way, we ask that you apply for your WWCC as soon as possible. Checks take around 2-3 weeks.

Lost & Damaged Library Book Fines

Gallery Image

Responsibility is an important skill to develop.

If your child’s library book is lost or damaged, you will be charged a lost library book fee of $10.00 so that it can be replaced. The money will be refunded if the book is found. When at home, we suggest you keep your child’s library books in a common place for easy accessibility. This will also encourage your child to be responsible for the books they have borrowed.

Please note if your child has an overdue library book you will receive an email from our library system, functional solutions. If your child's book is overdue for more than one month you will see an overdue library charge on your XUNO dashboard. This is not a voluntary charge and should be paid as soon as possible.
