Dear St Francis Xavier Families,

This term all classes are focusing on deepening their understanding of our patron saint, St Francis Xavier. As a Catholic primary school, learning about St Francis Xavier, helps our students understand the values and mission that inspire our school community. St Francis Xavier was known for his deep faith, courage, compassion, and commitment to sharing God's love with others. By exploring his life and example, students are encouraged to grow in faith, serve others with kindness, embrace different cultures, and live out our school's Catholic values in their everyday lives.  We intend that every child will know about his life and why he is special to us but each year level is taking a developmental and varied perspective.

PRAYER BACK PACKS

We have very much appreciated the feedback received from families in the Junior School about our take home Prayer Back Packs. Thank you for sharing your thoughts about the activities and especially for taking the time to forward the beautiful photos of our children using the resources.

"I liked reading the book with the Gospels it made me feel chill." Marco

"I liked the coloured sheet that had different prayers because you could choose the one you wanted to pray." Santino

"I liked the rosary beads because you could count and do your own prayers." Lachie
