         Victorian Premiers' Reading Challenge

Congratulations to three more of our students who have completed their Challenge by reading and recording books they have read on the VPRC website. 

 Well done to:

Archer J from Year 4

Edward P from Year 1, and

Lexie B from Year 1.

These students will receive a Reading Champion badge at our next assembly and a certificate in Term 4.

The end of the Challenge is coming up soon on 6th September, so remember to enter and mark as complete all the books you have read before this date.

Book Week dress up and visit by Michael Salmon

Book Week is coming up this term on August 16th-23rd, and we have some exciting news. Our school will be visited by a famous Australian author and illustrator, Michael Salmon, for an online session with our students on Wednesday, 20th August.   We already have some of his books in our library and will be buying some more for our students to borrow and read before Book Week.  If any parents or students would like to purchase a copy of Michael's books, he has sent us an order form for purchasing directly from him at a special price. There are also some printed copies of this form available in the office foyer.   Please note, there is no obligation to do so.
