Sport super stars

Two of our students have recently represented our school, and Australia, with pride and determination.

Tanat – a World Champion!

A huge congratulations to Year 6 student Tanat, who represented Australia at the WBC Muaythai World Championships in Verona, Italy – and returned home as a World Champion!

Competing in the 36kg division, Tanat fought across three days, defeating competitors from Cyprus, England, and Poland in the final to claim the Gold Medal.

Tanat was also named Best Male Junior from athletes representing 74 countries!

What an achievement—we’re incredibly proud of you, Tanat!

Hanna’s Sporting Streak

Year 5 student Hanna has been busy – competing in a range of sporting events, from mountain biking to running and now onto diving!

  • She won the All Schools Mountain Bike Series at Lysterfield in the U13 Girls division!
  • Her team took home the Silver Medal in the Little Athletics State Relay Cross Country Championships
  • She competed in the School Sport Victoria Regional Cross Country Championships in Hastings. Despite not being at 100% after illness, she still showed great determination and gave it her all.

This week, Hanna is in Brisbane representing Victoria at the School Sport Australia Games—a huge national event bringing together students from across the country in a multi-sport competition that feels like a school Olympics. She’ll be competing in Diving.

Go Hanna—we’re cheering for you all the way from Port Melbourne!

We're so proud of our two outstanding young athletes.
