Maths Talent Quest

Congratulations to our Year 4 - 6 students for their amazing work on the Maths Talent Quest (MTQ) projects!

Our participants this year include:

Year 6: Henrik, Henry & Xander, Josie, Kirin, Lucette & Charlotte B, Shayan, Anika D, Alex L, Timothy, Jun & David, Alby and Henry P.

The MTQ is a competition where students explore mathematical ideas and demonstrate their problem-solving and reasoning abilities. Over the past three months, students have shown outstanding effort, creativity and mathematical thinking when designing and creating a project. We saw a wide range of topics explored, including projects such as How Can You Get a 4 Tonne Chicken to a Birthday Party?, How Much Would it Cost to Start an F1 Team?, and Can I Power My House With a Bike? just to name a few! A huge congratulations to the 15 projects that have been selected by the PMPS judges to represent our school in the statewide competition. These include:
