Welcome to our international students

We are delighted to extend a warm welcome to a group of international students who have recently joined us for a short-term study experience. They’ll be spending time in our Year 2, 4 and 5 classrooms learning, sharing, and immersing themselves in Australian culture. It’s an exciting opportunity for all of us!

Having international students in our classrooms brings so many benefits. For our students, it’s a chance to engage with children from different parts of the world, share stories and experiences, and broaden their perspectives. It gives them the opportunity to become more curious, more empathetic, and more connected to the wider world.

Special mentions

We are thrilled to welcome back two familiar faces – Yulia and Lucas, who are returning for their second year. It’s lovely to see you again!

And a particularly heartwarming welcome goes to Kylie, mum of one of our international students. Kylie completed her teaching placement here several years ago. How special it is that her daughter now gets to learn at the very same school where Kylie once taught!

We also want to give a warm welcome to Annabel and Vivienne, cousins of Harriet and Freya, one of our PMPS families. Family is such an important part of our school community, and it’s a beautiful thing to see cousins learning together. What a wonderful way to create lasting memories!

Say hello!

If you see our visiting students and their families around the school grounds, we encourage you to say hello and make them feel at home.

And to our new families, we hope you have a fabulous experience here in Australia!
