Musical Production

– Maria Chadwick, Performing Arts Teacher & Director

Our Year 4 students are currently hard at work rehearsing our production called ‘The Claw’.

It tells a delightful story with themes related to the value of friendship, managing change and resilience. Our speaking cast, lead singers and dance captains have all been selected, and together with the chorus have wasted no time in getting on with learning songs and dialogue. We’ll all switch our focus to choreography before too long. And … the excitement is definitely building!

Ticket sales

This year’s ticket price will remain at $30 each. Please start asking family and friends which performance they would like to attend! We’ll let you know via this newsletter when they will be available, and it won’t be long! Keep an eye on future newsletters and emails for the release date.

We extend our grateful thanks to our parent band, The Portals, for the funds they have raised that allow us to offer tickets at such a low price. Please continue to support them!

Although Year 4 students will perform the show, we welcome ALL students of any year level and community members along to share in the fun of this annual event in the audience, so please give it your consideration, organise your tickets and BE THERE!

We’re looking forward to seeing you!
