Year Two News 

Year Two students have settled into Term Two extremely well and students are eager to learn! So far, we have been making personal connections to texts, working on our understanding of narratives, creating Cinquain poems, developing our ability to automatically double numbers and subitise and students have begun to explore our new Humanities topic, History. 

Keep your eyes peeled for an extra special Cinquain poem coming home next week! 

History Box Incursion

On Friday, Year Two students will be participating in a ‘History Box’ incursion. Students are looking forward to exploring the differences in life from the past and how it has changed. We cannot wait to share what we learn with you! 

Diaries

The Year Two teachers are enjoying seeing some student diaries filled out and finding out what students are reading at home. We strongly encourage families to continue reading at home as much as possible and writing this in diaries to share with teachers.
