Kinder News - Parrwang Group

This term Parrwang group have been showing an interest in our sensory tables where we had a bug themed table as well as a digger and sand table. Children have been enjoying exploring their sense of touch and getting messy through their play. Another area of interest this week has been our new camping home corner where children have been talking about their holidays with each other and their own experience camping. In group times this week we have discussed our holidays and what everyone did on the break as well as looking at ANZAC Day. This week we read the story 'ANZAC Ted', which is a lovely story about a teddy bear that went to comfort the ANZAC's. We extended on this through making some poppies and our own ANZAC Ted at the craft and drawing tables. The weather was lovely this afternoon so we ventured outside where children loved playing in our fire station cubby house.
