Year 11 Food Studies Excursion

On the 29th of May Mrs D’Sylva and Miss Blackmore took the Year 11 Food Studies students to visit William Angliss Institute.

The students were taken on a tour of the campus and also experiences a gourmet lunch. The students thoroughly enjoyed the tour where they got to see what courses are on offer and what career paths they could pursue in the hospitality and events industries.

Lunch was absolutely delicious and the students commented on how full their tummies were and how they enjoyed the experience.

It was also quite funny trying to work out which cutlery and plates belonged to each person so there were quite a few conversations which started with “Start from the outside and work your way in”.

The students represented the college with pride and it was an absolute pleasure to attend this excursion with them.
