Action group

Community-led action group

MGSC is a truly great place!  But it could be even better.  We are seeking expressions of interest from individuals who wish to join a newly formed MGSC community-led action group.

The group will focus on lobbying the Victorian Government to provide fair and equitable funding for much needed building and infrastructure work at MGSC.

Whilst our school has managed to self-fund much needed building works over many years, such as our soon to commence STEAM Centre, our school has been unfairly overlooked for government funded building works for more than two decades, leaving us with an ageing infrastructure in desperate need of replacement.

Our most immediate requirements are for people to help with the following:

• Communications (marketing and social media)
• Public relations
• Political strategy

If you, or someone you know, is able to help with any of the above areas - or you are simply keen to be a part of making sure MGSC is continuing to provide excellence in education for girls into the future, we want to hear from you.
