HSC in the Holidays
Seminars for students
HSC in the Holidays, in partnership with Macquarie University and UTS, are again running a series of seminars for HSC students to assist their preparations for the half-yearly exams. The seminars are scheduled for Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th March (UTS) and Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th March (Macquarie University).
Each of these sessions are run by highly qualified and experienced HSC Teachers (all with extensive marking experience) and will focus on the following areas:
- How to approach each type of question in the exam;
- Techniques to maximise marks;
- A deeper understanding of what HSC Markers are looking for; and
- Critical thinking and analysis skills
Below are the subjects we are running in March:
- English Paper 1 (Standard & Advanced)
- Mathematics - (Extension 1, 2 Unit & General 2)
- HSIE - (Ancient History, Business Studies, Economics, Legal Studies & Modern History)
- Science - (Biology, Chemistry & Physics)
- PDHPE
- Studies of Religion (1 Unit topics)
