Proud global citizens

Construction begins

In our Special Education classes

Students in Special education have been identifying ways in which they could act as global citizens to reduce, reuse and recycle (the 3 Rs)  in a  world where human consumption is increasing. As a part of this learning experience within TAS (Technology and Applied Studies) students have been examining ways they can use the 3 Rs around their home, school and within the community. In an effort to reduce the amount of consumption around the home, students used aluminium tin cans to construct and individually design their own minion pen holders. Whilst participating in this activity, students were happily engaged in developing their fine motor skills, whilst at the same time implement practical ways to  reduce their impact on the environment.

The proof is in the pudding, learning can be so much fun!
