Year 8 Hockey
Well done to the Year 8 Hockey team and their great effort at the recent Hockey Tournament in Hawthorn. We managed to place 3rd overall from a total of 8 teams by winning two games and two games resulting in a draw. Everyone got involved and played on till the very last minute. Special shoutout to Steven S for volunteering to play as goalkeeper all day and not letting a single goal through!

Intermediate Girls’ Basketball
On Wednesday 16 August, the Year 9 and 10 girls travelled to Dandenong Stadium to participate in the Divisional Basketball Round Robin. Both our A and B teams played very well. The A team advanced to the final against McKinnon Secondary College but just fell short, losing by only 4 points. Our B team won all four of their games which was a great effort.
Overall, it was a very enjoyable day to hang out with friends, support each other and play some great basketball. A big thank you to all the students who participated so enthusiastically and displayed the spirit that Beaumaris Secondary College is renowned for. We look forward to competing again next year!

Senior Boys Basketball
So proud of our Senior Boys Basketball team who clinched the Runners Up title at the Southern Metropolitan Region Basketball Championships last week. We went through undefeated in our pool beating Mornington, Elizabeth Murdoch and Alkira on way to the SMR Final against Berwick. A huge shout-out to each player for their superstar efforts and making it to this level of the competition!
State Senior Boys Netball
What an amazing journey for our Senior Boys Netball Team! They dominated the Pool Stage with an undefeated streak, showing their sheer determination and skill. While the Semi-Final didn't swing their way against the State Champions, Bass Coast College, it doesn't dim their shining 6-year record. These champs have held their Division crown throughout their time at the college!
