College Captains' Report

Only two weeks left of Term 3, and we aren't slowing down yet. Since the last newsletter, a LOT has happened. From Athletics Day to Career Expos to Year 11 Formal, it has been busy.

Athletics Day was a roaring success, and students had an awesome time. We were lucky enough to have 20 students represent Beaumaris at the Divisional Round, and they smashed it out, with Beaumaris claiming a podium finish in almost every event. We all wish the students who qualified for the next round, the best of luck!

On Friday 18 August, the Year 11 students travelled to the Career Expo at the Melbourne Convention Centre. They spent the day talking to companies, exploring their passions, and considering their future.

The Year 11's also had their Formal last Friday, which was hosted at Mordialloc Lifesaving Club! They spent their night dancing, laughing, and smiles all round. I'm sure that it was a great experience for all, and I know the Year 10's are excited for our go next year!

We also have some exciting House events coming up, with the Footy Colours Day next week on 4 September, and the Beauy Bake Off on 11 September. So, get your footy jerseys and aprons out!

With only two weeks left of Term 3, everything is starting to wrap up, with PBL's or SAC's being completed by all year levels. I wish everyone good luck for these last two weeks!
