Resource Centre

Many Year 12 students are making the most of the time between their HSC Trial Exams by studying and revising their subjects in the Resource Centre. A lot of collaboration is taking place as well as tutorials provided by their teachers across all subject areas.

More new books have arrived in both the fiction and non-fiction areas and are now on display for students to borrow and enjoy. These include a range of LEGO books: How to Build Brick Cars, Lego Ideas and You Can Build Anything as well as fishing, cricket and biographies. Michael Dahl, Anne Fine, Michael Rosen, Jake Maddox, Elizabeth Letts, Gary Paulsen, Michael Morpurgo and Lauren St John are authors of the many new fiction books now available.

The Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA) Book Week is being held 20th-26th August this year with the theme Dreaming with Eyes Open. A range of books reflecting this theme will be part of a special Book Week display at this time.
