House Chess - Term 3

We will begin our House Chess Competition in Term 3.

From the first day of School there will be sign up sheets in the Library, you will need to see the Library staff to enter your name.

There are three levels in House Chess. These are; Junior (Years 7 & 8), Intermediate (Years 9 & 10) and Senior (Year 11 & 12).

House Chess will take place at lunchtime in the Library and we hope there will be a huge Competition this year.

I would like to introduce you all to our new Chess Captain for 2023, Ben Hall, (on the right) and Chess Vice Captain, Anthony Russell. Both of these young men are aficionados of the game.  They are studying for their VCE this year.

This week we were graced with the presence of some of our Year 12 Vocational Major students in the Library. As well as their Academic work, they decided to test their Building skills using our giant Jenga game.

Mrs. Herrmann and I would like to thankyou all, our amazing staff and students, for another wonderful term together in our beloved Library. We have such grateful hearts for this space we share, this space where we all belong.

Happy holidays everyone.
