Main entry road to Boarding CLOSED - end of term pick up

Main entrance closed from Monday 4 April -  Friday 22 April

In Week Ten of this term the main entry road to boarding will be closed due to Phase Two of the upgrade of the road surface. To access boarding during this time you will need to enter at the Multi-Purpose Sport Complex (Gym) entry and drive all the way around the back of the School via the Facilities area before parking in the Boarding area. Exit via the gravel road at the back of Eclipse House.

Recreation

Recreation has been going along swimmingly in boarding!  Friday afternoon beach visits have been very popular as the weather has been warm. This is a great way to end a busy week of school. Ten pin bowling, golf and swimming at ALAC have all proved popular. The Skate Park is always well received, and the senior boarders also recently enjoyed lawn bowls.

Sometimes recreation is simply in and around the Houses, the new spike ball games have also been a great source of entertainment in all Houses and a way to get our boarders outside and active. The spike ball has been so popular it was taken along to Middleton Beach for recreation.  We have recently ordered giant chess pieces and will arrange to have some pavers laid next term to allow our students to spend time outdoors. We have many other outdoor games for boarders to use and to keep them busy and active outdoors. Over the weekend some Easter craft was offered to the Middle School boarders and they enjoyed this activity with Mrs Freeman.
