Year 7 Mother's Day Morning Tea

On Monday 15 May, we welcomed our Year 7 mothers and carers to Trinity College Trade Training Centre for a morning tea to celebrate the important role they have in caring for and raising their children.

Members of our Wellbeing Team, Paige Turner and Jeremy Barren, were on hand to present on how to find the best version of yourself, your 'mojo' and self-care throughout the journey of raising children. Mothers and carers had the opportunity to mingle and get to know each other and our staff.  We enjoyed lovely treats, tea and coffee. We had our own café 'Hot Splash' run by our Vocational Major students, Jenifer Ruddell, Sienna Langdon, Isabella and Matilda Mason who prepared barista coffees as a part of their learning experience. A great atmosphere was created by members of our school band, Charlotte Leersen, Oscar Angus, Tessa Tucker-Schwan and Mason Rothery.

We give a warm thank you to our staff and students who set up, prepared food and beverages and arranged music for this special day.

Overall, our time spent connecting and learning was a huge success and we look forward to welcoming families to other events throughout the year.
