Student Learning Conversations

We are at the halfway point of the semester and it was great to have families back at Trinity for the Student Learning Conversations last week. Over 1000 individual conversations took place throughout the day, with teachers and parents/carers commenting on the positive vibe around the Tuck wing to support the learning journey of our students.

If you were unable to attend or would like further information, teachers welcome queries or concerns regarding your child’s progress at any time. Teachers can be contacted through the Parent Access Module (PAM). Our next formal reporting occurs at the end of Semester 1 and collates the learning throughout all of Term 1 and 2.

Our learning and teaching is based upon developing the character, knowledge and skills of the Trinity person. Ongoing Assessment tasks with detailed feedback and rubrics together with classwork can be viewed through your PAM account and we encourage regular logins to check progress, completion of work and attendance. Excursions are an important part of the teaching and learning program at Trinity and we ask your support in encouraging your child’s attendance for the learning opportunities outside the classroom.

Pathways discussions will occur with Year 9-11 students in June and July to assist students with their decision making regarding subject choices and career options for the future. Please keep watching the newsletter for details regarding these events.
