Haiku

Haiku

Haiku is a traditional form of Japanese poetry. It is usually about seasons.  Haiku in Japanese is written in a single vertical line while haiku in English often appears in three lines. Due to the nature of the English language haiku in English can be written with lower or upper case letters. The use of Arabic numerals and punctuation is also a very important expressive technique for English haiku. Now let's enjoy haiku written by some of the Year 10 students.
