State Athletics

Congratulations to Kasia Kersley,  Amelia Spencley and Josh Enslin who qualified for the State Athletics Finals at Lakeside Stadium on Friday 18th of October. In the 100m dash Kasia finished third with a personal best time of 13.1 seconds and Josh placed fifth with a personal best time of 12.38. Amelia ended up 6th with a best jump of 9.94 metres in the triple jump, despite having some trouble with her run up, which had to be either 7 or 9 metres instead of the 8 metres she was used to. Brayden Christie had also qualified in the shot-put but could not attend because he had to attend his Auntie's wedding. Well done to all on a fantastic achievement.
