LIDS for KIDS

Recycle your plastic lids for kids

Collect plastic caps to make artificial hands for kids.

Sandringham College is supporting Envision Hands who recycle plastic bottle caps into prosthetic hands for children for free. Collection bins are located at Bluff Rd reception and Holloway Rd Student Managers Centre.

Lids need to be clean, flat (not pop-up), soft drink, water and milk bottle tops (including long-life), numbered 2 or 4 or are un-numbered and with no metal or extra plastic attached.

This is a new recycling initiative bought to you by the PTF. Many thanks to Eddie Jenkins for donating her time to set this up and to manage the donation of the lids going forward.
