SAPSASA SOCCER

On Friday the 30th of June, the selected teams of Year 5/6 boys and girls attended round one of the Statewide knockout soccer competition held at Ingle Farm Junior Soccer Club. Four schools competed in this carnival.

The results for the day were as followed:

 BoysGirls
Game 1Magil 2 - Hectorville 0 = winMagil 1 - Hectorville 2 = loss
Game 2Magill 2 - Trinity Gardens 2 = drawMagill 1 - Trinity Gardens 6 = loss
Game 3Magill 6 - Hillcrest 1 = winMagill 3 - Hillcrest 0 = win

The skills were high and the tension was higher, making it an awesome day of soccer with every game producing nail-biting action. With two wins and a draw, our boys finished in 1st place and have advanced to the second round. The girls team showed impressive improvement compared to last year, and thoroughly deserved their win. Unfortuantely, they will not proceed to the next round.

Both teams represented Magill with pride and showed unbelievable passion and determination at all times. It was an absolute pleasure coaching them and witnessing their commitment and enthusiasm. We are incredibly proud of both teams and are so excited to see how far the boys can go.
