PETITION: SUPPORT OUR PUSH FOR A NEW PLAYGROUND

SIGN OUR PETITION AT THE SCHOOL ENTRANCE NEXT WEEK!

As you will know our school council and students have been on a campaign to find funding support to replace our tired old playground with something that is safer, more modern, and engaging for our children. A modern and safe replacement has been costed at @ $250,000. Well beyond our school's capacity to fund-raise and so we are seeking funding sources for this project.

To this ends the school council and students have engaged with politicians and department officers to seek their support. This process continues and will do so until we secure sufficient funding for a brand-new playground.

As part of this process, the school council has created a petition which will be taken to the Minister for Education seeking their support. Unfortunately, online petitions will not be accepted by the Legislative Assembly so a paper version is required.

This means the collection of petition signatures needs to be done the old-fashioned way. We will have a table set up at the school entrance next week and ask all parents and visitors coming to the school to sign their support. Please add your name and encourage others to do so too.
