GRADE 1-2 UPDATE

Hello Grade 1 and 2 Community,

For Reading this week the students explored Christmas themed books and recalled key information related to each text. 

For Writing this week the students wrote some beautiful kind wishes for the peers for 2023. 

For Maths, students completed some skip counting themed Christmas decorations and cards. They looked at some Christmas themed worded problems and played round robin themed maths games.

On Friday the students had a blast at their end of year Christmas party. We played many a game, including table tennis, with students excitedly exchanging gifts.

Some students have asked us to share the class meditation channel they have enjoyed throughout the year 'The Mindfulness Teacher.'  Bubble Bounce has been a class favourite at the start of the day.

Thank-you to all the families who contributed to the joy that was the party.
