Best wishes from the PTF (Parents, Teachers and Friends) Committee

I hope you've had a great return to school this term. The PTF has been greatly affected by the COVID-19 situation this term with most of our planned activities either cancelled or postponed. I want to reassure you though that we're super keen to get going again and hope that we can make a start in Term 3. (I can hear Kelly from the Gardening Club lamenting about the weeds as she reads this!)

You're invited to come to the PTF meetings. 

It's a great opportunity to meet other parents, hear what's going on in the school and ask the Principals any questions. Our PTF meetings for Term 3 are: 

• 7pm Wed 22 July 2020 (Venue or Zoom TBC)
• 7pm Wed 19 August 2020 (Venue or Zoom TBC)

Second Hand Uniform Shop needs donated uniforms. 

The Second Hand Uniform shop has been so popular this term that it's now running low on stock. Do you have any old uniforms that you would like to donate? We would love them! All money raised goes back to the school via the many PTF projects. 

Donation bins are located in reception at both Bluff Rd and Holloway Rd campuses (please note new location at Holloway Rd). If you would like to donate uniforms over the holidays or would prefer not to donate them at school, please email me and I can provide an alternative drop off location. ptfpresident@sandringhamsc.vic.edu.au

The Second Hand Uniform shop is open every Thursday 8.15am - 9.15am during the school term (closed over the holidays) and is located at the Bluff Rd campus. Please note that COVID-19 restrictions are in place and all parents need to check in at the Bluff Rd reception first, only one family at a time in the shop and please queue 1.5m apart. 

Lids for Kids plastic lid recycling update

Thank you to everyone who has been diligently collecting plastic lids for the Lids for Kids recycling program. We've had a great response but have been informed by Envision that they are currently not accepting any donations. Not to worry, we will store the donated lids to date. Can we please request that you keep your collected lids at home until we confirm the next steps. Click here if you would like more information about Envision Hands.
