Cross Age Maths Tutoring

It’s said that you can’t do something really well until you can teach another person to do it. That’s the principle behind our peer tutoring program.

Every Monday from 3:00 pm – 3:45 pm in the Library, some of our best and brightest Year 11s volunteer their time to help younger students with school work, particularly Maths.

Our younger students generally use the opportunity to complete their weekly homework with support from friends and peer tutors as needed.

With VCE exams fast approaching, training for our next group of tutors, from this year’s Year 10, is about to start.

Once they are trained, they will take over the tutoring positions for the remainder of the year.
