Year 9 Tasmania Camp Final Payment

The 2nd Payment of $450 has been EXTENDED to Monday 9 October (First Day, Term 4).

Year 10 Formal

On Friday 8 September, the Year 10 cohort attended the 2017 Formal at the Karralyka centre in Ringwood East.

As the limos and luxury cars arrived, faces popped out, resembling those of the LHS Year 10’s. Extravagant dresses and fancy suits soon followed with the beaming excitement clearly written on their faces. A flash of the camera like a paparazzi engulfed each group, before being ushered off to the main event. Compliments were exchanged between all, with a tight hug being returned as friends were met.

As we seated, the night began with a quick speech and introduction from Ms Nevins and myself, before the ever-awaited food arrived.

Between meals, intense dancing was present, the tunes provided by our DJ Steve. With throwbacks and hot 100 songs being played, the night was sure to be a blast.

Students also had the opportunity to have both professional and roving photographs taken by the GFP Formal Group and Ms Main.

The night was concluded with a group performance of ‘The Horses’ by Daryl Braithwaite, carried out by the entire year level.

Overall, the Year 10 formal was an event like no other. It was something of which was enjoyed by all that attended.

As a year level, we would like to thank all of the teachers who attended, and all of the Year 10 students who made the night so enjoyable.

We would also like to thank our awesome formal committee, that consisted of; Connor Walker, Bailey Chandler, Ben Schneider, Ryan Havekotte, Cayden Maki, Lachlan Johnson, Ruby Thompson, Brianna Hale, Emily Gleeson, Taryn Bourke, Ebony Lancaster and myself, who worked along with Mrs Moore to make the night the very best it could be.
