WEEK 10 | TERM 4

STUDENTS OF THE WEEK

Over the next two weeks, our Grade 3 students will have finished the year with some fantastic learning across Writing, Mathematics and Inquiry. In Writing, students will explore the wonderful world of poetry, experimenting with rhythm, imagery and expressive language to create meaningful and creative poems. In Mathematics, we will wrap up our unit on probability, where students enjoyed engaging in chance-based investigations, using vocabulary such as likely, unlikely, and certain to describe everyday events.

For Inquiry, students deepened their global understanding by learning about Australia’s neighbouring countries, exploring their cultures, locations and unique features. This learning sparked thoughtful discussions about diversity, connection and what it means to be part of our region.

As we come to the end of 2025, the Year 3 teaching team would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our wonderful families and community for your continued support throughout the year. We are incredibly proud of each and every student for their hard work, enthusiasm and growth.
