St Monica’s College, Epping proudly congratulates Year 8 student Aarav Malhotra on his outstanding achievement in representing Victoria at the Australian Indoor Cricket Under‑14 Championships in July 2026. Competing for over a week at Casey Stadium, Aarav delivered an exceptional performance throughout the tournament, demonstrating both skill and determination on the national stage. His impressive results saw him finish with the second-highest number of runs and the highest number of wickets for Victoria, highlighting his remarkable all-round ability and significant contribution to the team. Aarav’s dedication, sportsmanship and commitment to excellence are a credit to himself, his family and the College community. 

We are incredibly proud of his achievements and look forward to following his continued success in the years ahead. 🏏

Under 17’s Australian Schools Boxing Champion – Monique Rowe

During the July school holidays, Monique travelled to Brisbane to compete at the Australian Schools Boxing Championships. Demonstrating great courage and determination whilst competing in a higher weight division, Monique delivered an outstanding performance to win the gold medal, earning the title of Australian Female Under 17 National Champion.

Monique's hard work and dedication were on full display, with her championship bout ending in a convincing third-round stoppage victory. She will now begin preparations for the Golden Gloves tournament in Brisbane this August, followed by a series of scheduled bouts in New Zealand this September.

Congratulations to Monique on this outstanding accomplishment. We wish her every success as she continues her boxing journey and look forward to following her future achievements.
