P&C Update

Mrs Erin Williams - P&C President

Wow, this term is already racing past us

The Year 12s are very close to done.

First there are senior awards next Wednesday night, then external exams and they finish off with our evening soiree and graduation ceremony on 20th November, starting at 5:30pm. The P&C are providing canapes to parents and guests, and there will be beverages to buy for a lovely pre-ceremony gathering. We are looking for a great group of parent and student volunteers to run the show prior to the ceremony – so if you want to know what graduation looks like and give us a helping hand, please get in contact!

Our next TULA music concert is on 14th November. Come along to hear the amazing talent we have at The Gap State High School. This is the concert we invite Year 6 band members to come along and rehearse and play with our students to get a taste of high school life. As always, we will be running food and drink at the JA Robertson Hall, so see us all there. If you would like to volunteer with the PoPArts crew in the kitchen, email our PoPArts secretary. The P&C have been able to support students competing at a national level through fundraising efforts such as our TULA canteen.

Some of our EVP players are heading to Adelaide to see elite competition on the world stage. Then the yearly Gold Coast comps at the end of Term 4 will not only see many of our volleyball athletes spending a week competing, but also our Tuckshop and Catering chef accompany them to make sure they are well fed and ready for competition.

Our last meeting for the year is on Monday November 10th, 7:00pm in the library. We will be talking about 2026 budget and what priorities we will be looking at in the next year.
