Mental Health Week 2025
Mental Health Week was a wonderful celebration of connection, wellbeing, and community across our school.
Thanks to the ongoing support of our P&C, we received a Mental Health Week grant for the fifth year in a row, helping us bring a range of engaging activities to life.
This year’s theme encouraged everyone to connect, with yourself, your community, others, and nature. These ideas came to life through a week of hands-on experiences, learning, and fun.
Highlights included a visit from Gecko Wildlife, where students met Bumpy the wombat, and interactive sessions with QPS, Headspace, and Picabeen Community Services exploring resilience and mental health awareness, all enjoyed alongside a BBQ in the quad.
We wrapped up the week with an incredible silent disco, with more than 800 students throughout the day dancing, laughing, and celebrating the power of music and movement.
Events like these make a real difference, helping to boost wellbeing, reduce stress, and strengthen our sense of belonging as a school community.
