Dear Families,
Our students continue to be immersed in a range of purposeful activities across the past week. The 3-4 Democracy Incursion provided great knowledge and insight for our students in the level. The Foundation Nutrition Incursion was as equally engaging. For our seniors their participation in the first of two Sporting Gala days was another great day! The Year 5-6 will participate in another Sports Gala Day this Friday!
Walk to School Day
We hope that you enjoyed the walk to school and the fruit platters! Most importantly, we hope that you talked with your child about walking safely across streets, around traffic and cars.
Updated Photography & Recording Permission Form
Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) has updated the 'Photography and Recording Permission Form'. The new form has been sent only to some families.
If your family has recieved one please complete it and return it to your child's class teacher.
Reminder – No Dogs on School Grounds
A friendly reminder to all families that dogs are not permitted on school grounds unless they are approved assistance animals.
We appreciate your support in helping us maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all students, staff, and families, particularly those with allergies or concerns around animals.
Empathy Awards
Krystal from 5/6M won an empathy award for always showing kindness to her friends and others.
Alexander 56M for always showing kindness especially when helping his buddy settle into school.
National Reconciliation Week
This week we acknowledge National Reconciliation Week which reminds us of the importance of all Australians working together in a spirit of peace, acceptance and respect. Over this week, students have been involved in various discussions, activities and prayer to promote unity and understanding.
Class Mass
This Friday our 3/4B will host out Friday Mass. Our Theme is National Reconciliation.
If you are attending Morning Tea afterwards please bring a plate and list all ingredients.
No Nuts or food cooked in nut oil.

National Simultaneous Storytime
Today our school participated in National Simulaneous Storytime (NSS). All students listened to and discussed this year's NSS book, 'Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller'.
National Volunteer Week
This weeks is National Volunteers Week and gives opportunity for the school to say a huge thank you to all those within our community who share their time and talent for the common good of our students and community. A 'flourishing' community is one that binds together, to bring life and energy and certainly our parent and grandparent community do that in many ways. Thank you!!!
Division Cross Country
Our students who have made it to the 'Division stage' of the competition will run next Tuesday June 2nd. Information has been sent directly to parents of these students.
John Hannah House Visit
The Grade 3/4TG class recently enjoyed a special visit with the residents, where they took part in engaging activities inspired by the life and work of David Attenborough. Students shared their knowledge of animals and nature, participated in discussions about the environment, and enjoyed connecting with the residents through fun and meaningful conversations. It was wonderful to see the students showing kindness, curiosity, and respect throughout the visit.
Connor's Run - Early bird
Let's get behind this charity fundraiser as we have in past years. Connors Run will bve held
Sunday 13th September to raise funds for pediatric brain cancer.

Pre- Service Teachers
Two preservice teachers from Austrlian Catholic University will begin their placement In Foundation L & Foundation W. We warmly welome thes estudents to our school for the remnainder of the term.
