National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS)

On Wednesday the 27th of May, all students from Foundation to Year 6 participated in National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS). Each year, a book is selected to be read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, bookshops and many other places around Australia and New Zealand. 

Our students joined over 2 million participants in sharing a reading of this year's NSS book, Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller written by Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd and illustrated by Jake A. Minton.

Most of our classes enjoyed listening to the authors and illustrator speak about the story today and some will be doing so later in the week as their timetable allows. Students also had fun completing some Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller activities and/or creating their own Luna Roo drawings and artworks.
