Colour Fun Run
Thank you to everyone who participated with enthusiasm, making our fun run such a wonderful success once again. The smiles and laughter make this event very fulfilling, however the incredible fundraising effort makes is an incredibly valuable event for our school.
The whole school raised an incredible $18,918.80! That is a truly outstanding result.
Ordering of prizes closes today 13th November, so please remember to get your orders in now.
A massive congratulations to Oli A, from 3/4 Lidgett, who was our highest fundraiser on the day of our colour run. Oli raised an impressive $1,510! To celebrate his fundraising efforts, Oli was awarded the 'highest fundraiser gold cape'. Thanks for being awesome Oli!
Fundraising continued following our colour run on the 31st, with Sophia J, from Prep Mortlock taking the overall highest fundraiser for the event. Sophia raised and incredible $1,655! Congratulations Sophia on your amazing efforts. We have a special something coming your way.
We had a number of students who's fundraising efforts contributed greatly to our overall success. A special big thank you to the following top fundraisers. Superstars!
Upcoming Fundraisers/ Events
We will be holding our annual end of year Christmas picnic on Thursday 27th November from 5:00pm- 7:00pm. Families are encouraged to come along with their own dinner/ picnic blankets/ chairs and take the opportunity to celebrate the year as a community.
The evenings events will include:
- the drawing of our Christmas Raffle
A visit from a festive friend.
Christmas Raffle: Request for Donations
We are seeking donations from our school community to make up as many wonderful prizes as we can. If you have any donations to offer, please submit them to the office. Raffle tickets will be sent home this week, so please keep an eye out.
Thank you to all the families who ordered trays of mangos this year. We sold an incredible 235 trays which should be arriving early December. We will let you know when we have a date for collection.

Fruit Friday
We are very grateful for the ongoing support offered by the McKern Foundation, who generously supply our fruit for Fresh Fruit Friday every week. Fresh Fruit Friday preparations take place in the staff room from 8:45am. This is a wonderful opportunity to make new connections with other parents. New volunteers are always welcome and appreciated.
Sandpit toys
Thank you to Parent Club who have kindly purchased some new sandpit toys for us to use in the Junior Playground. The students are loving playing with these new additions!
