Pevan and Sarah Concert
On Monday, we were lucky enough to attend the Pevan and Sarah concert. The Preps can't believe that we got to see Pevan & Sarah in real life. We enjoyed singing and dancing to our favourite songs with big smiles on our faces!

Spring Gully Animal Hospital Visit
We have been learning all about our community this term and we were so lucky to get to visit the Spring Gully Animal Hospital, last Thursday. We got to check our heart rate and listen to each others heart beat. We got to see an x-ray and the x-ray machine, then check on the animals who were recovering. Thank you for letting us come to visit you, Spring Gully Animal Hospital!

Be Awesome Day & Colour Run
The Preps had a fabulous day celebrating Be Awesome Day and going to the Colour Run. Thank you for all of your donations to make this day happen and to everyone who assisted us with the stalls on the day. Congratulations to Prep Mortlock who raised the most money for our school!

Sound bags
This week, we have collected each child's sound bag and individual sound cards. Please continue to use your child's green reader bag to keep all readers, word lists and any important information. You can continue to practise all sounds at home when you do your daily reading practise! You can find all the sounds in the front of your childs reading diary.
Getting reading for Grade 1
We are quickly approaching the end of the year and the end of our Preps first year of school. At this point in the year, we begin to prepare the Preps for Grade 1. Students should be lining up outside before the bell each morning and coming into the classroom independently, every day. We would love your support with encouraging your child to do this.
