Year 8 Sport – A Fantastic Day Out

Our Year 8 students had a fantastic day representing the school in interschool sport, showing great energy, teamwork, and school spirit across all events.

In social volleyball, it was awesome to see the skills developed throughout the term come to life in game situations. Students communicated well, supported each other, and played with confidence. A special mention to Maggie and Fergus for their outstanding effort and encouragement of teammates, both led by example all day.

Our futsal teams, both boys and girls, across competitive and social divisions – brought great intensity and enthusiasm. The competitive teams played some high-quality futsal, showing strong teamwork and determination throughout their matches. A big shoutout to Hawo and Cooper for their impact and effort across the day.

Overall, it was a brilliant display of participation, teamwork, and positive attitudes from all students involved. Well done, Year 8! 

Looking ahead to next term, students will have the opportunity to participate in a range of sports including:

• Netball 

• Cross Country
