Swimming Carnival

On Friday 6th February we held our inaugural combined swimming carnival with Fitzroy High School and Collingwood College, and it was a fantastic day centred around student participation, connection and school spirit.

What stood out most was the way our students embraced the day. We saw outstanding participation across competitive races, novelty events, free swim opportunities and even plenty of dancing poolside. Students challenged themselves, encouraged their peers and created an atmosphere that was energetic, inclusive and genuinely fun.

It was fantastic to see students from both schools mixing, supporting each other and showing great sportsmanship throughout the carnival. Whether students were competing, trying something new, cheering from the sidelines or simply being part of the day, every contribution helped make the event a success.

We are incredibly proud of the way students represented their school, supported their house teams and demonstrated respect for staff, officials and each other.

A big thank you also to staff who supported students throughout the day and helped create such a positive and safe environment for everyone involved.
