The spirit of the eagle was in full flight at the Athletics Carnival that concluded Term 3. Walton House students displayed outstanding enthusiasm, teamwork, and pride throughout the day — cheering loudly, giving their best effort, and supporting one another from start to finish. The sense of community and determination shown truly reflected the values of Nancy Bird Walton. It was a brilliant way to head to the term, and that same energy has carried into Term 4, with students continuing to show focus and positivity across their classes and activities.
In Week 4, we were proud to celebrate our students’ creativity and innovation at the Art and STEM Exhibition. The event showcased a wide range of student work — from visual art and design pieces to inventive STEM projects — demonstrating imagination, problem-solving, and technical skill. The opening night was a particular highlight, featuring live entertainment by our talented students and a wonderful sense of celebration shared by families, friends, and staff. How fabulous it was to acknowledge and appreciate the achievements of our young creators!

As we reach the middle of Term 4, students have now received their October Learning Habits Reports. This is an ideal moment to review their progress and reflect on how far they’ve come since September. Families are encouraged to look through the reports together and talk about areas of growth and where further improvement might be needed. Taking time to celebrate effort and identify small, achievable goals will help students finish the term strong and build confidence as they prepare for the year ahead.
Looking forward, Commencement Week in Week 8 will mark the beginning of the 2026 school year. Students will receive their new timetables and start their new subjects, bringing opportunities for fresh learning and personal growth. Walton House encourages everyone to approach this change with excitement and open minds. Just like the eagle soaring through the air, our students are ready to embrace new challenges and rise to even greater heights.
