ISN PSYCHOLOGY FREE GROUP SCHOOL TELEHEALTH SESSIONS - Suitable for Primary and secondary school students

With the start of Term 4 upon us, thought it best I circulate this amongst our ISN schools and the wider community to let you know about our upcoming FREE group therapy programs.  

 

We have a range of ISN Clinic groups that are running after school and Saturdays with a Provisional Psychologist as the facilitator for all group sessions.  

 

Groups will start the 2nd week of Term 4 and run for 6 x 60-minute weekly sessions online:

 

The ADHD Skills for Teens (age 12-17yo) groups are running:

Tuesdays 4-5pm

Wednesdays 5.30-6.30pm

Fridays 5-6pm 

Saturdays 12.30-1.30pm 

Please note all times are: AEDT.

ADHD Skills for Teens Group - Structured Support Program - ISN Psychology Clinic

 

The PEERS social skills group (age 12-18yo for ASD):

Wednesdays 4.30pm

Saturdays 12.30pm (AEDT). 

Social Skills for Teens - Evidence-Based Group Program - ISN Psychology Clinic

 

The Anxiety and Worry (12-15yo) groups are running: 

Tuesdays 4-5pm

Saturdays 10-11am 

12.30-1.30pm (AEDT). 

Anxiety and Worry Group - Cool Kids Program for Children and Teens - ISN Psychology Clinic

These courses are open for all to register, are free to all participants - not just ISN schools or their families - the wider school community are also included.

TheWellMob website is an online library of culturally safe wellbeing resources for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. These include videos, apps, fact sheets, websites, and podcasts for health and community workers to use with First Nations clients, and for workforce self-care and professional development.  

Using online resources is a great way for workers and our diverse mob to 

understand and address health and wellbeing goals.
