VCE VM News

Weeks 7 and 8 have marked a shift in focus for our VCE Vocational Major (VM) students, with many successfully completing a range of microcredential courses. These have included White Card training, First Aid and CPR, and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA). Not only do these qualifications strengthen students’ resumes, but also equip them with practical, real-world skills and open doors to a wider range of employment opportunities and industries.
We were also excited to extend the opportunity for White Card training to our Year 10 students in preparation for their upcoming work experience in Term 2. It was fantastic to see them engaging in senior school experiences and gaining an insight into different career pathways.
Alongside these achievements, students have continued to make steady progress on their major projects, explore work placement opportunities, and build their understanding of flexible workplace arrangements. It has also been a special time for many, with students and staff celebrating together important milestones, including 18th birthdays.
