Family Fun Night - See you Monday!

We look forward to welcoming our families on Monday between 3.30 and 5.15pm for our Family Fun Night! All students MUST be supervised by a nominated parent/carer whilst attending this event.

There will be a range of activities on offer and it will be a chance to catch up with so many of our fabulous staff as well.

Please BYO food and drinks as there will not be food or drinks provided.

NAPLAN

What a very proud principal I am!! Our year 3 and 5 students went through a challenging time recently completing their NAPLAN assessments. We were faced with technology issues and interruptions, however every student demonstrated outstanding resilience and perseverance throughout. Congratulations to every student and a big thank you to the wider HPS community who supported both cohorts during this time.

I'd also like to extend my gratitude to Mr Turvey and Mr Singh, who worked tirelessly to prepare our student's devices and ensure the behind the scenes admin was taken care of. Well done to all involved!

Easter Parade & Easter Raffle

It's that time of year again where we get to celebrate the end of Term 1 by having an ELC and junior school Easter hat parade AND our whole school raffle! There are lots of prizes on offer, so make sure you get your tickets for $2 each, for your chance to win one of the 10 prizes available!

The Easter Hat Parade will be held on the last day of term, Thursday 2nd April from just after 9am on the basketball courts - weather permitting.

The Easter Raffle will be drawn during lunch eating time, with prizes being sent home with students at the end of the day.

Term 1 is ending soon! 2.30pm Thursday 2nd April

A reminder that the end of term is fast approaching and as always, we finish at 2.30pm.

Due to Easter, the last day is Thursday 2nd April, with students returning for Term 2 on Monday 20th April.

TeamKids will be available from 2.30pm on the last day and throughout the term break.

Family-Teacher Conversations

Don't forget to save the date for after school Family-Teacher Conversations, being held Week 2 in Term 2. Keep an eye on Compass for the release of booking times for families, which will be coming soon.

We look forward to welcoming our families along to chat about student progress and ongoing reporting.

School Uniform - Uniform Dress Code Policy

A reminder to families and students that the two colours for the Hillsmeade uniform are navy blue and red. ALL clothing should please be in these colours including pants, skirts, shorts and accessories including hijabs, scarves, gloves etc.
