Cultural Diversity Week

Norwood is a school rich in cultural diversity and during Cultural Diversity Week (17th – 21st March) the library gave students the opportunity to let us know where their family came from by adding a coloured dot to a map of the world on display in the L1 library classroom. Students were also asked to share a memory of a favourite tradition – family, religious or cultural and these were added to the display. Thanks to Divy, one of the new Library Volunteers, for the idea. It has been fantastic to watch students engage with this map, adding their coloured dots and giving us insight into their family celebrations.

Holiday Reads

Borrowing is now OPEN for the upcoming holidays. Students can borrow up to six books and now is the time to come in and check out the range of new books on offer. If you would like to borrow more, simply see Ms Mill and she will happily override this limit.
