Athletics Carnival

Our Norwood Athletics carnival was held on Tuesday and what an amazing turn out we had. The sun was shining which created an amazing atmosphere throughout the day. A huge thankyou to all those who attended, cheered, dressed up, created signs, participated on the track or field events and strived for their personal best.

• Isla J - 13 Yr 800m (2:31.99). Old record: Sayaka Tran (2:34.74 - 1994) 

• Isla J - 13 Yr 1500m (5:21.38). Old record: Lorna Clark (5:31.85 - 2012)

• Christian L - 15 Yr 100m Hurdles (14.69). Old record Evan Johnson (14.93 - 2002)

• Christian L - 15 Yr 200m (23.60). Old record Nathan Carr (23.86 - 2004)

• Hayley M - 17 Yr High Jump (1.34). Old record Claire Murray (1.31 - 2014) 

• Chloe L - 14 Yr 1500m (5:18.07). Old record Leah Burgoyne (5:20.41 - 2012)

The Maroondah Division Athletics carnival will be held in Term 3 – Tuesday, 2 September.
