The Macleod College Music Academy (MCMA) provides outstanding specialised music education for students of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners through to advanced musicians. Through individual tuition, ensemble opportunities and performance experiences, students are encouraged to develop their skills, confidence and lifelong love of music in a supportive and inspiring environment. We welcome new students to join the program at any stage of their musical journey.

AMEB Grade Piano examinations

We are delighted to congratulate two of our talented piano students who will soon be undertaking their AMEB Grade Piano examinations. This is a wonderful achievement and reflects the dedication, perseverance and hard work they have shown throughout their studies. We wish both students every success in their examinations.

VCE Evening

Our VCE Music Performance Evening was a wonderful celebration of talent, dedication and perseverance. Students proudly showcased the results of months of hard work, delivering confident and expressive performances across a wide range of musical styles. Congratulations to all of our performers on an outstanding night, and thank you to the families, friends and staff who came along to support them.

Musical

Not long to go until our annual production: Legally Blonde! Excitement is building as our students continue rehearsing from learning choreography and perfecting harmonies to bringing characters to life on stage, the cast, band and crew have been working incredibly hard behind the scenes. 

We invite our school community to join us for a special matinee performance on 7th of September, followed by evening performances on 9th, 10th and 11th of September. Tickets will be available shortly via Compass, and we look forward to welcoming you to what promises to be a fantastic production showcasing the incredible talents of our students.
