Principal's Report

Welcome to Term 3

I would like to warmly welcome all students, families and staff back for what promises to be another busy and rewarding term at Macleod College.

It is a privilege to commence this term as Acting Principal, and I am looking forward to working alongside our dedicated staff, students and families to continue building on the great work taking place across our school community. I am excited by the opportunity to lead our college during this period and to support every student in achieving their personal best.

Term 3 is always a significant term, particularly for our senior students. As our Year 12 students begin the final lead-up to their VCE examinations, our focus will be on ensuring they feel well supported, confident and prepared for the months ahead. We encourage all Year 12 students to make the most of the additional support available through their teachers, attend revision sessions and maintain a healthy balance between study and wellbeing.

Our Year 10 and Year 11 students will also be making important decisions as they continue to explore and refine their VCE and Vocational Major (VM) pathways. This is an exciting stage of their education, and our staff are committed to providing guidance and support to help students make informed choices that align with their strengths, interests and future aspirations.

Across the college, there will be plenty happening this term, both in and out of the classroom. I encourage all students to get involved, make the most of the opportunities available, challenge themselves and enjoy everything that Term 3 has to offer. We are also looking forward to our school production of Legally Blonde at the end of the term, which promises to be a fantastic showcase of the talent, creativity and dedication of our students and staff. I hope to see many members of our school community there supporting what is sure to be a wonderful performance.

I look forward to sharing the successes and achievements of our students throughout the term and wish everyone a productive, successful and enjoyable Term 3.
