Welcome back to Term 3!

We hope everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable holiday break. It has been wonderful to see the children return to school with smiling faces, ready to learn. We have had a fantastic start to the term, and I am so proud of how quickly everyone has settled back into our classroom routines.

This term, our school has launched a whole-school Kindness Campaign. Throughout the term, students will be learning about what kindness means and the many different ways kindness can be shown each day.

Children will be encouraged to:

  • use kind words
  • share and take turns
  • include others in games
  • encourage their classmates
  • offer help when someone needs it
  • use safe hands and make positive choices.

This wonderful initiative aims to encourage all students to be the best versions of themselves, both inside and outside the school grounds. We are already seeing many acts of kindness in our classroom and playground, and we encourage you to continue these conversations at home by asking your child how they have shown kindness each day.

Term 3 will be a very exciting one packed full of new learning opportunities and fun events for our preps. They will celebrate 100 days of school and attend their first school excursion to Moonlight Sanctuary. Be sure to keep an eye on Compass messages to ensure you do not miss any details regarding these events.
