Year 3 Update

Welcome back to Term 3!
We hope all of our families had a relaxing and enjoyable break. We are looking forward to another exciting term filled with engaging learning experiences, including our upcoming excursion to Healesville Sanctuary. Thank you for your continued support, we can't wait to see all the wonderful learning and growth this term will bring!
Kindness Campaign
This term, Hillsmeade has launched a school-wide Kindness Campaign, encouraging students to be kind to others and themselves while living our school value of Kindness. Throughout the term, students will have opportunities to reflect on the kind words and actions they have shown each day and learn how even small acts of kindness can make a positive difference to those around them.
To celebrate these positive behaviours, teachers will award raffle tickets to students who are "caught" showing kindness in the playground. These tickets will be entered into the Kindness Campaign draw, with students having the chance to win a canteen voucher.
We are excited to celebrate the many acts of kindness we know our Year 3 students will show this term. We encourage you to continue these conversations at home by asking your child how they demonstrated kindness each day and how their actions made a positive difference to someone else.
