acting Learning Place Leader, Lorcan!
Welcome back to Banksia!
What an eventful second term we have had!
Staff and students have continued to build some really positive relationships. Now that we have got used to our new classes, the fun and learning have really begun!
We are watching some budding friendships grow across the building, and a massive increase in confidence from some individuals.
Students have been developing and taking ownership of their ready to learn strategies, enabling classes to experience some amazing lessons through our topic of ‘Our Earth in Space.’ We look forward to watching our students build on this term and continue to thrive throughout the second half of the year. We also had our first basketball team to represent Banksia Place at a interschools tournament, we are very proud of the team!
Things to remember:
SeeSaw and Compass are the best ways to communicate with building staff.
School starts at 9 and finishes at 3. If drop offs and pickups are outside of these times, you may be required to wait, as this is learning time for our students, and staff will attend when they can.
Please label all student items, including shoes and clothing.
Please help students to dress appropriately for the weather, Winter is here!
